About Lane
Lane Collins was born and raised in Hickory, North Carolina, where she began taking pictures as a teenager. After watching her first print develop in the darkroom, she fell madly in love with all things photogeeky and went on to study photography at the San Francisco Art Institute. It was on a student trip to Ladakh, India with Linda Connor in 2005 that she first experienced real travel, and her life was forever altered. After graduation, Lane spent over two years in New Zealand, where she had many grand adventures and dedicated herself to making new work. She recently returned to the States is currently living and creating in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

In addition to pursuing her personal projects, Lane is also available for commissions and freelance assignments. She regularly exhibits her photographs both locally and internationally. Please see the exhibitions page for further details.
